Alex Stepney
Alex Stepney was one of the greatest
goalkeepers of his generation.
He played for Millwall
and Chelsea before joining Manchester United in a career that spanned almost 15
years. He was Manchester United's first choice
goalkeeper for 10 years and will be forever remembered for a superb save that
was instrumental in Manchester United's European Cup
win in 1968.
Until recently, he was on the coaching
staff at Manchester City FC !
